‘Honey on a razor blade’ is about suffering from sweetness. It describes being possessive, a feeling we can all sympathise. It’s about a sense of longing and missing for something or someone you’ve grown attachment to. Asa wrote this track through his bittersweet decision to move from his beloved Berlin to Cologne.
